CherryPy Project Download

This is a cherrypy3 Tool for sqlalchemy plus some additional functionality that extends sqlalchemy's declarative base with similar options provided by elixir. This has been successfully tested with python3 (at one point in its revision)

Extended functionality depends on being able to access the toolbox this Tool is mounted in. Refer to code.

Check docstring of BaseExtensions? for use of extended functionality. When declaring models, you will want to create a base like so

from toolbox import dae #or where-ever you mounted this tool

Base = dae.sqla.get_base('sqlite:////home/daniel/www.sqlite')
metadata = Base.metadata

This tool can be used across multiple apps for multiple engines. Simply import the model and when you access Model.query, the appropriate session will handle the request.

This tool has only been tested with sqlite.

Before starting engine, call dae.sqla.create_all()

    Extends declarative base to provide convenience methods to models similar to
    functionality found in Elixir. Works in python3.

    For example, given the model User:
